Bug Description

We use the xfce4-mailwatch-plugin to keep track of multiple email accounts with multiple free email providers. It used to work brilliantly when we started out with the plugin watching only 2 Hotmail accounts through imap. The connection data we used was as indicated by Hotmail themselves (the imap address, SSL connection through 993). After adding an third Hotmail address we noticed that there new mail in the third Hotmail inbox were not detected/ shown. All connection data that was used was identical to the first 2 Hotmail boxes. Adventurous we added another email account, this time at the university server, also using imap. This one functioned flawlessly. However, when we tried adding an additional three GMX accounts, the plugin failed to connect and show the arrival of new mail.

We are not sure whether the intermittent performance of the xfce4-mailwatch-plugin is due to an issue in the plugin itself, or a conflict with the actions it tries to perform. We think though it might be connected to the plugin though since only some, and not all accounts with the same provider, with the same connection data, are giving "New Mail" indications upon the arrival of new messages. We did test setting the "Check for new messages" time to various, non-overlapping values, but that didn't change anything.

Hence the questions:
- Can anybody else share how many accounts they are watching with this plugin (and it still works as it should).
- Has anybody else seen the behaviour we describe here?
- Any idea what might cause it?
- Any solutions?
- Is it really a bug in the xfce4-mailwatch-plugin and should it be fixed?

Cheers!
