xfce4-indicator-plugin is not configurable - hide does not work

Bug Description
with a right-click every bit in the panel is configurable, also the xfce4-indicator
but if i want to hide the time and other options,
A. it is not possible to mark the checkbox and
B. if i do so (via panel - panel options - objetcts - options)
it dow not work, even after a restart.
