Bug Description
I used MenuLibre to add an application to the menu.
Expected:
List of applications to be updated if any added, modified or removed.
Actual:
The list of applications was totally blank, no categories or applications shown.
It turns out if you edit the settings of xfce4-appfinder to not keep an instance running in the background, the issue is fixed.
Description: Ubuntu 15.10
Release: 15.10
xfce4-appfinder:
Installed: 4.12.0-2
Candidate: 4.12.0-2

The bug does not occur when copying a premade .desktop launcher to ~/.local/ share/applicati ons while the appfinder is open.
