Bug Description

After updating the package xe-guest-utilities_6.2.0-1120_amd6.deb (from xs-tools.iso) to xe-guest-utilities 6.2.0-1120+dsf1-0ubuntu1~15.04.1 the file /etc/init.d/xe-linux-distribution and it's symlinks in /etc/rc[0-6].d remain.
This causes an attempt to double start/stop /usr/sbin/xe-daemon.

It seems that the file /etc/init.d/xe-linux-distribution has disappeared in the Ubuntu package and no care is taken to remove this conffile and the symlinks.

In debian/rules there is
 # We don't need the old init.d job
 rm -rf extracted/etc

So the old init.d job is still there after updating from the upstream .deb package to the Ubuntu package.
IMO a preinst 'update' is needed to get this right on a package upgrade
