Bug Description
If a filename has an embedded '#', xdg-open fails to open it.
Here's an example. The file:
paulo@monk:
-rw-rw-r-- 1 paulo paulo 1822717 Abr 14 00:13 Dino vegetariano #3: Rúcula gum.mp4
Making sure its MIME type can be recognized:
paulo@monk:
video/mp4
I tried opening both ways:
paulo@monk:
paulo@monk:
and both failed with notification error message:
Failed to open "file:///Dino\ vegetariano\ #3\:\ Rúcula\ gum.mp4".
Error when getting information for file '/
Dino vegetariano ': No such file or directory
I attached a screenshot of the notification message.
