Bug Description
Binary package hint: xchat
xchat doesn't wait for authentication to succeed before autojoining channels, so I cannot autojoin any of the invite-only channels I'm part of.
Problem not seen in Lucid, however it may interest you that this issue is also present on Lucid booting off a newer 2.6.35 kernel.

This is now affecting joining #ubuntu. I keep getting floodbot nonsense and then it's ok to join.
I have my favourites set to join #ubuntu, #ubuntu- beginners, #ubuntuforums- mods but it only lets me join #ubuntu-beginners now. I have to manually join the others.
