Bug Description
Binary package hint: xchat
I have a few IRC servers that require passwords set in xchat, and since I upgraded to 10.04, they no longer work. xchat successfully connects, but doesn't appear to be sending them, and so the server closes the connection.
These exact same configurations worked with the older xchat version, so this appears to be a regression.

OK, I figured it out. I'm using the znc IRC bouncer (the version in Hardy), and 73_freenode_ ircd-seven. dpatch in Lucid's xchat causes xchat to send 'CAP LS', which makes znc unhappy. I also can't find reference to it in the IRC RFCs, so I'm not sure what the server is supposed to do in this case.
