xchat only saves network settings when properly shut down

Bug Description

When a user changes settings in xchat's Network List, such as their nickname, the change is not saved until the user manually closes xchat. If the user shuts down the system and does not explicitly close xchat, their settings will not be saved.

Confirmed, experienced the same issue when recreating on Ubuntu 12.04.
