Binary package hint: xchat-gnome
When minimising xchat or xchat-gnome the unity icon disappears. The application is still running and can then only be brought back to screen by using alt-tab. If the xchat icon is pinned to the unity bar and the application is minimised and then the icon is clicked it starts a new occurrence of xchat and does not maximise the window.

Appears to start when I pinned xchat to the unity bar. After I minimised it, I clicked on the icon and it launched a second occurrence. Closed the second occurrence and unpinned the icon. When closing xchat and relaunching the icon doesn't reappear until a reboot has taken place.
