I figured out the steps to reproduce this:

1. Create a new network
2. Check "automatically connect to network"
3. Click the servers tab
4. Click "add"
5. Type in some server info and click "close"

The server info is not saved. When you restart xchat-gnome, it segfaults due to an auto-connect network with no servers in the server list.

Changed in xchat-gnome (Ubuntu):
status: New → Confirmed
visibility: private → public

Same issue on Ubuntu 10.10 Beta (up-to-date), with XChat version: 1:0.26.1-1ubuntu3 (xchat-gnome).
