2006-07-29 15:02:21 | Sebastien Bacher | xchat: statusexplanation | (Note that we don't install an IRC client with dapper and don't switch people from xchat to xchat-gnome, they have to install xchat-gnome to get it) Guillaume, is xchat-gnome known to not use usermenu.conf settings from xchat? Jane, the lists of channels you join, etc is not stored to that file ... did those settings got dropped on upgrad too? That seems weird, they use the same configuration file and there is no reason it has been dropped on upgrade | ||

Jane, the lists of channels you join, etc is not stored to that file ... did those settings got dropped on upgrad too? That seems weird, they use the same configuration file and there is no reason it has been dropped on upgrade | We stopped installing xchat-gnome by default before dapper, they are different program, if an user choice to install xchat-gnome instead of xchat he might have to update some configure option. That's not really a bug, closing now |
