Bug Description

xchat-gnome gives the following gdk critical warning when running under Ubuntu 8.10

(xchat-gnome:21272): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixmap_new: assertion `(width != 0) && (height != 0)' failed

Confirmed: I see this when using the mouse wheel to scroll back up through the chat log, though sometimes it just shows up when new messages arrive.

I'm running xchat-gnome 1:0.24.1-0ubuntu1 on Intrepid.
