Bug Description
In Ubuntu 12.10, when xchat-gnome is running and the network connection is lost, xchat-gnome automatically disconnects from server.
When the network connection goes up again, xchat-gnome automatically reconnects to all servers, but then pop ups the "join channel" dialog (this is no expected). This should be a simple "reconnect" operation, not a "join server, chose a channel" action. Moreover, it is quite annoying because once connected, this popup dialog takes the focus over all other applications.
In Ubuntu 11.04, the behaviour was correct.
How ot reproduce:
1) Run xchat-gnome
2) Connect to a server, join any channel
3) Disable networking: you should see xchat-gnome disconnecting
4) Enable networking: once the connection is up, xchat-gnome reconnects to the server, and once connected it show the "join channel" dialog.
xchat-gnome version: 0.3.0 (1:0.30.
