xbacklight changes backlight, ubuntu settings don't

Bug Description

So, I cannot change the screen brightness using ubuntu settings.
But with xbacklight, it works perfectly.

So I don't know, what's the problem.

Seems to be fixed with nvidia-352 version 352.63.

unfortunately, fresh liveCD, Ubuntu Studio, using XFCE, this problem is still ongoing.

This issue seems to be limited to NVidia proprietary drivers.
