Bug Description

Binary package hint: radio

Ubuntu 9.04

radio 3.95.dfsg.1-8.1ubuntu1

$ radio
Warning: open /dev/radio: No such file or directory
Trying alternate device: /dev/v4l/radio0
Warning: open /dev/v4l/radio0: No such file or directory
Giving up.

$ ls /dev/rad* -ld
crw-rw----+ 1 root video 81, 2 2009-07-11 11:49 /dev/radio0

The name of the radio0 device file is like that since at least 4 years.

Same problem with gnomeradio 1.8-1

This is fixed on debian.

It looks like it was/is fixed in upstream version 3.102 (or before).

Did not test the Ubuntu package.
