I had this problem on my Xubuntu Feisty LTSP, whenever one user running xarchiver,
the other users is blocked from opening compressed/archive on the same system, after searching
a bit on google, there is this /tmp/xarchiver.socket that is owned by the first
user running xarchiver and it looks like this is the file that prevent other users
running xarchiver.
to reproduce,
run xarchiver on the first user,
try to open .zip/.tgz/.rar archiver on different user.
note: it was no problem if you run xarchiver without any argument, new xarchiver window will open,
the problem only happen whenever other user try to open existing compressed archive (ie extract or open).
