Bug Description

Xara LX is still one of a handful of full-featured professional quality vector editing tools for Linux. Its features set it apart from other tools by ease of use and its strong ability to incorporate and manipulate raster images. Sadly Xara has discontinued supporting the tool, and because they reserve the trademarks, no third party has been able to step in and create a support community.

To break that impasse I've created a re-branded repository Xoamorph to carry on Linux development. Unlike some of the other previous forks of Xara, the project's goal is not to replace CDraw, a non-free library that Xara LX depends on (though maybe it will one day), but rather to maintain the application, fixing bugs and integrating it with the latest version of dependant libraries, particularly WX (the outdated version on which it depends is now starting to cause problems)

As of this moment, the current snapshot in master has all the latest patches and compiles on 15.04. Work is currently under way to replace all user interface elements that contain trademarked images or text with Xoamorph branded ones. But completion of that activity is not necessary to include it into the latest Ubuntu release.
