libx264 renders poorly in kdenlive on 64bit 10.10

   Hello and thank you for reading my bug report.

   This bug is currently being discussed on the kdenlive forums: http://kdenlive.org/forum/h264-renders-unusually-slowly-unusually-large-file-size-and-echo-078-ubuntu-1010#node-3429.

   The problem is that when rendering H.264 with libx264, the video renders abnormally slowly and the file size is especially large. It's rendering the video at a high bitrate, regardless of the bitrate requested.

   This problem is only present in ubuntu and is only present in 64bit. Other OSs do not have this problem and even ubuntu 10.10 32bit does not have this problem.

   I also ran into problems with the audio having an echo, but I believe that is an AAC problem, possibly not related to this issue.
