The bug description wasn't very clear to me, but I think I have the same one.

Running System Test in Ubuntu Karmic alpha 5 (with Guest Additions installed) in VBox 3.0.6 on Ubuntu 8.04.3, the test for screen resolution does not cycle between detected resolutions, but remains at current custom resolution selected by VBox. Note that this may be a feature of VBox rather than a bug.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. I can only assume that this is a duplicate of bug #427932, because it's being submitted automatically from Apport and reported against x11-xserver-utils, which is the package most other duplicates are also reported against. Discussion of this bug, its workarounds and its status should be made in that bug report. Please look at the other bug report to see if there is any missing information that you can provide. Please also continue to report any other bugs you may find in Karmic alphas.
