Bug Description

1.
> xkill

expected result:
a) output: "Select the window whose client you wish to kill with button 1..."
b) pointer turns to an X
c) you can click on a window
d) that window's process gets killed

what actually happens
a) output: "Select the window whose client you wish to kill with button 1..."
b) The pointer goes invisible, until you move it, then it goes to the normal pointer.
...that's it.

This is a known issue with wayland documented upstream on https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_debug_Wayland_problems#Many_well-known_X11_utilities_don.27t_work

This seems to be working properly as of bionic
