Bug Description

Binary package hint: python-insighttoolkit3

The Python-insighttoolkit is badly packaged as we cannot do a "import itk" from python.

It seems that the library is directly package after /usr/share/pyshared instead of /usr/share/pyshared/itk

The result is that this module cannot be used.

As a workaround, have you tried installing it using this itk repository ( http://www.paulnovo.org/repository )?

reassigned to the right package.
Unfortunately seems that debian dropped this package from unstable.
http://packages.qa.debian.org/w/wrapitk-python.html
so will likely disappear in the next ubuntu releases

affects: insighttoolkit (Ubuntu) → wrapitk-python (Ubuntu)
