Thanks for the clarification Thierry. Unfortunately I cannot use it wireless as a system wide setting due to bug #288963 which doesn't have an intrepid backport. Seems when tracking down the cause of one bug, I encounter 3 more to that need to be fixed in order to solve it. :) Maybe I should just upgrade to jaunty and be done with it, but I fear that's a whole new bag of worms...
