Bug Description

In addition to not being able to autoconfigure my prismGT wireless card during
installation (card is detected, but get an error when trying to configure it), I get
the following message during bootup:
"eth0" at line 2 can't be mapped reliably"
I don't know what this means (I'm not a programmer), but thought I'd report it.

try to comment (#) in your /etc/network/interfaces the following 3 lines:

mapping hotplug
        script grep
        map eth0

This is a ifupdown bug, not grepmap.

I think I'll take a look at this one.
