Bug Description

On an eeepc 1000H with RT2790 wireless chipset.

After the upgrade to quantal, CLI wireless tools are not working anymore.

When the wireless is clearly associated (I can ping hosts),

iwconfig wlan0

reports no association to access point

iw wlan0 link

reports no association to access point

I was experiencing the same when trying to use mainline kernel 3.5 with precise.

If kernel interfaces are changed, wireless tools should be updated to use the new ones.
