Windowhandler crashes with wings3d

Wings is working excellent until I try to interact with any other window. If I do, it will manage to select that window, but any input made, will end up being directed to Wings instead. If wings is then turned off, the problem will still persist and if I attempt to select any other window it will mess up. Generally it's the above example that happens: I manage to select 1 other window than my current one, And I can move it around, but everything I type etc. end up in the first window.

When this happens, You can still right-click on the desktop and get that little menu-thing *so terminal access is possible via Nautilus Open-terminal* But all icons on the desktop are unclickable.

This problem also goes for windows minimized. If a minimized window is clicked, it won't maximize, it will only be marked, but no other interaction with it is possible.
This is only one aspect of the problem as well. If you say, get an MSN/pidgin popup while working in Wings ". Then the mouse disappears and you can't do ANYTHING *Can't click, or use hotkeys or anything for anything*. The only solution is to manually cut the power to the computer *In the other cases you can access the terminal and sudo reboot it.

Tried turning off compiz and it didn't help.

Tried replacing Metacity and that didn't help either.

The problem does NOT occur with other 3D-animation programs such as Blender and K3D.

Also, If I turn off wings BEFORE i start interacting with other windows, the problem won't occur. so it's definitely wings related.

The version of Wings is 1.0.2

I wish I could provide you with more feedback on this. But seeing as the entire computer becomes un-navigationable and with me being a terminal-n00b, it's sort of hard to do anything, also I was going to report this to the Xorg section, but seeing as the problem occured with the release of Lucid Lynx, I feel that this is the appropriate place.
