Wine esound module cuts out middle of sound

New version of Wine, firstly to say thank you for getting this rolled out for the latest release from Ubuntu. I have a slight problem that I am finding that the sounds in Wine now seems choppy and broken and missing but strangely in the middle of the sounds being player. I am using this for text to speech and it seems as if part of the words are missing. Hope that this can be resolved.
