Bug Description

Binary package hint: wine

This Apport bug report was triggered after trying to run winecfg. Also, a segfault resulted, as follows:

     Jun 2 21:32:56 server1 kernel: [87356.669601] wine[19693]: segfault at 4a6c3f68 rip 4a6c3f68 rsp ffcd928c error 15

This could be related to the problem here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wine/+bug/191575
(I actually wanted to merge this report with that one but couldn't see how.)

Could you please retest with the updated Wine in Hardy (1.0.0)? Thank you.

I had many problems with segfaults after an upgrade. I have since done a clean install.
So, unless anyone else has a problem, this might as well be closed.

Your segmentation faults were probably unrelated to this bug.

Anyway, since the segfaults seem to be fixed after an upgrade + clean config, this bug can probably be closed.
