Bug Description

The package does not work with systemd out of the box.

exec: Failed to execute process: './windows_program.exe' the file could not be run by the operating system.

Copying the file /usr/lib/binfmt.d/wine.conf from an OpenSUSE RPM wine-binfmt-1.2.1-1.4 resolves the issue.

I had similar issue on Ubuntu 23.10

$ ./Altirra64.exe
bash: ./Altirra64.exe: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error

Solved by adding of
---
:Wine:M::MZ::/usr/bin/wine:
---
into /etc/binfmt.d/wine.conf

and restarting of the service "systemd-binfmt": $ sudo systemctl restart systemd-binfmt
