Well,

after having a second and third look this bug is not a bug, at least not for wine in ubuntu.
I installed wrar with wine and it works.
You printout bug tells us something else...

ryan@ryan-laptop:~$ wine "C:/Program Files/apprentice/appr.exe"

preloader: Warning: failed to reserve range 00000000-60000000
err:dosmem:setup_dos_mem Cannot use first megabyte for DOS address space, please report
fixme:spoolsv:serv_main (0 (nil))

the fixme bugs me more...I would say it's an upstream bug, for your application. Please
report the bug upstream (www.winehq.org)...

The preloader message is not nice, but it doesn't raise any serious crash...
