wicd-client.py crashed with AttributeError in _trigger_scan_if_needed()

this message just pops up without any obvious reason.
However, I did install a new Cisco/linksys router WRT54G2 - but the PC is connected via cable.
After that, wicd requests password to connect to the network card every time and this client crash occurs
