I have tested this with pandi.or.id.

http://whois.domaintools.com/pandi.or.id gives the expected results, i.e. registration and IP details

Command "whois pandi.or.id" gives error of "Not found: -V Md5.0 pandi.or.id"

This problem seems to be fixed in saucy and trusty as "whois pandi.or.id" works as expected.

Raring version of whois is 5.0.20, in saucy it is 5.0.26.

As raring's end of life is in just over 30 days time this bug is unlikely to be fixed.
