Bug Description

Binary package hint: wget

wget --content-disposition does not name the resultant file in accordance with the Content-Disposition header, if HTTP Basic authentication is performed.

This is reproducible with wget 1.11.4-1ubuntu1, and with the current development version of wget, pulled from Hg today.

This has been reported upstream: https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/index.php?24862

I don't have a patch to fix this, but I've submitted a unit test upstream which triggers the bug. (See the bug report there.)

This has been fixed in Wget 1.12, which is currently in Debian unstable. It'll probably find its way to Ubuntu in Lucid Lynx.

I can confirm this issue being fixed as of the lucid wget 1.12-1.1ubuntu2.1.
(So also in the current natty wget 1.12-2.1ubuntu1.)
