Also confirm this error is present in Ubuntu Gnome 13.10 final release. I just installed it, updated everything and, sometimes, software-center crashes. Only first time it crashed it offered to send a crash reports; following times it just crashes. This is what I get if run software-center on the prompt and it crashes:

I installed Ubuntu Gnome 13.10 final twice in the same machine and both times software-center crashed. Machine is a Dell XPS 15 (L521x). Haven't tried any workaround yet. I prefer to wait and see bug is corrected (after all, when it crashes, I relaunch it and it usually works the second time). Thanks to the developers working on this bug.
