Testing Evolution 3.45.3-1 in Ubuntu Kinetic Kudu, messages are failing to load in either the preview pane or their own window.

I was able to reproduce your bug, but it went away when I installed the webkit2gtk packages from kinetic-proposed. Are you able to give that a try?

Here's the trick to how I installed just the webkit stuff:
mkdir webkit; cd webkit
pull-lp-debs webkit2gtk kinetic-proposed
sudo apt install --mark-auto --only-upgrade ./*.deb

Last time, it took webkit2gtk almost a week to build on riscv64 so I expect it will take several days for the new version to migrate out of kinetic-proposed.
