Bug Description

When using a webapp container on rc-proposed, I've noticed that sometimes the app will become unresponsive after closing an overlay. It seems to have started in the past week or so?

This is still present. Now on stable channel.

Anyone else noticing this?

Michael: I haven't seen it yet, it seems to be transient but did you notice an app on which it does happen more often?

Yeah, I don't have a reliable reproduction sequence. I get it in 'The Old Reader' and 'refdit mobile' apps (theoldreader.mterry and redditmobile.mterry) but probably only because they both create lots kph overlays.

One clue is that afyer a restart, the overlay is opened, so the app didn't get as far as fibishing recording that the overlay was closed.

Sorry for typos, I'm experiencing a separate bug with backspace.

@mterry: is the bug with backspace bug #1569938 by any chance?

Yeah. Same symptoms (though that OP mentions magnifying as part of their repro steps, which for me doesn't automatically trigger it).

mterry: yes, magnifying is not a factor in my tests although it somewhat could make the issue more frequent,
