Bug Description

Accessing sites with mobile version such as Facebook and Youtube still shows the mobile version eventhough the UI is in desktop mode. The more appropriate behavior is that the browser should only identify itself as a mobile/touch device when in Staged mode but should be treated as PC when in Windowed mode.

Simply, the browser still presents itself as a mobile browser even though Unity 8 is in windowed/desktop mode.
The UA for the browser I think should automatically switch as well.

So you’re plugging a mouse to the device, which prompts unity8 to switch to windowed mode, right?
