In the tab preview list, a new tab is clipped at the top

Bug Description

The tab preview of new tab has a white bar at top (I think due the address bar)

This is similar to bug #1455129 (which appears to have fixed itself, somehow).

I updated the title of the bug to reflect the current situation: there is no white rectangle at the top any longer, but instead the top of the new tab view is clipped.
