Bug Description

with teh switch to oxide (and also a new G+ app using it) external links do not open at all anymore, videos can not play inside the webapp ... using G+ from the browser directly both of these work fine.

the G+ app was updated to the latest policy http://paste.ubuntu.com/7194044/
i see a lot of DENIED messages in /var/log/syslog for the app http://paste.ubuntu.com/7194027/

Discussed this on IRC. The apparmor denials aren't the entire problem-- adding rules to allow that access does not result in the webapp working correctly. Oliver says the site works fine in webbrowser-app but not webapp-container.

Videos play fine here for me. Can you confirm the webapp-container and liboxideqtcore0 versions?

Discussed on IRC and it plays fine on a recently flashed mako (#270 -> #272), but fails on ogra's mako though.

This bug was fixed in the package apparmor-easyprof-ubuntu - 1.1.13

apparmor-easyprof-ubuntu (1.1.13) trusty; urgency=medium

  * 1.1/webview (LP: #1301351)
    - add 'mr' for chrome-sandbox and oxide-renderer
    - allow 'r' for @{PROC}/sys/kernel/yama/ptrace_scope

one thing i just noticed is that the webapp prints the line from http://paste.ubuntu.com/7195178/ when i tap on a video to play it (on screen i see the rotating loading animation inside the video but nothing else happens)
