gutsy wammu dependency problem

Bug Description

Binary package hint: wammu

while installing wammu, the python-gammu version needed is >= 0.21 but the only version I can get from the repo's is 0.20-1

 rene@rene-lt:~$ sudo apt-get install wammu

This dep problem is a real mess. Maybe someone could tweak the actual wammu package not to require those deps ;)

No, the only thing that makes sense is following the steps I outlined in comment 4.

Note that the Debian maintainer is the upstream author. I'm quite convinced he didn't set the dependency for the fun of it.
