By using the Software Centre to install the Wally 2.4.1 .deb download, I can confirm that it fixes bug #739938 - it creates a launcher entry under Application Menu/Accessories/Wally.

This is a significant useability improvement over the Wally 2.3.2 currently in the repositories.
