Bug Description

[ Impact ]

No particular impact on users but since for walinuxagent we always keep all the supported series in sync, we want to SRU this change as well.

[ Test Case ]

None, packaging change.

[ Regression Potential ]

None.

Original description:

The current debian/control in Zesty says:

> Maintainer: Ben Howard <email address hidden>

I think this is wrong now? Ubuntu packages are team maintained anyway. I don't know if we have a particular policy on what the maintainer field should say. It should probably just point to some appropriate mailing list, similar to how update-maintainer does it.

I'm not sure what team to select here. Looking at other cloud-related packages, all of them seem to be maintained by single people. But I suppose in this case we need to switch to a team so for now I re-target to the usual Ubuntu Developers mailing list.

Either <email address hidden> (which is pretty much the ~cloudware team which is responsible for bugs for the package), or the standard Ubuntu developers list work for me. I'd probably opt for the latter as it's standard.

This bug was fixed in the package walinuxagent - 2.2.6-0ubuntu1

---------------
walinuxagent (2.2.6-0ubuntu1) zesty; urgency=medium

  * New upstream release (LP: #1661750).
  * debian/control:
    - Change the maintainer to Ubuntu Developers (LP: #1657528).
    - Add the dependency of isc-dhcp-client as our maintainer scripts assume
      it's installed.
    - Add trailing commas to dependencies, add whitespaces.
  * Rename ephemeral-disk-warning.sh to ephemeral-disk-warning (lintian error).
  * debian/docs:
    - Remove LICENSE.txt as it's redundant.
  * debian/postinst:
    - Stop checking for update-initramfs existence using the absolute path, use
      the 'command' command instead to make lintian happy.
  * Remove debian/patches/disable-auto-update.patch:
    - We now ship with auto-updates enabled (LP: #1650522).
  * debian/maintscript:
    - Add a maintscript to rename the old logrotate file on upgrade from an
      ancient version of walinuxagent (LP: #1673152).
