Gdm cannot be load and then crash

Sometimes when the gdm is suppose to load, it doesn't and the screen gets black, after several tries I got a message telling me: "The display server has been shut down about 6 times in the last 90 seconds. It is likely that something bad is going on. Waiting for 2 minutes before trying again on display :0.". It can be solved if I reboot and hope that this doesn't happen in the next time.
I've been facing this problem since I upgraded to dapper 2 days ago.

This doesn't look like gdm breakage to me. Can you try to run
  sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
and see if that fixes your x configuration?

I just noticed, this is a duplicate of bug 40473

I did the sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg but no changes.
I'll continue looking for the solution in the bug #40473, but it seems that there is no definite answer yet
