The MacBook touchpad thing is just a matter of configuration. It can either be changed in your xorg.conf or using gsynaptics or touchfreeze.

Hi,

Here on a Sony Vaio BZ11XN (HW info @ http://deep-ocean.net/files/sony/) with a volito2 tablet, on latest Ubuntu intrepid: when I click with the stylus, the click action comes (button, menu, etc), but the cursor gets stuck (doesn't move any more).
I must move the pen far away from the tablet and back to get the X cursor moving again.

If I use the touchpad (or an external USB logitech mouse) during the cursor freeze, I can notice that the cursor moves again (wathever the stylus does), and it selects some text : it seems that the tablet didn't notice the stylus button release.
