hardy: using provided lynx keymap in w3m reports "line 49: unknown key ''" when starting up

Bug #265144 reported by Steve Beattie
Affects Status Importance Assigned to Milestone
w3m (Ubuntu)
Fix Released

Bug Description

Binary package hint: w3m

When using the provided lynx-style keymap in w3m, w3m reports:

  line 49: unknown key ''

when it starts up. Line 49 of keymap.lynx is:

  keymap ; MARK_WORD

In keymap.default, line 49 looks like:

  keymap ";" MARK_WORD

Changing keymap.lynx in the same makes the warning go away when w3m starts up.

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Set w3m to use lynx keybindings:
  $ ln -s /usr/share/doc/w3m/examples/keymap.lynx ~/.w3m/keymap
2) Run w3m

This bug was fixed in the package w3m - 0.5.3-25

w3m (0.5.3-25) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Update 020_debian.patch to v0.5.3+git20151010
    - Remove incomplete special_domain tests (closes: #385702)
    - Fix unknown key in keymap.lynx (LP: #265144)
  * Set Priority to optional
