Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

I've noticed that terminal windows often get themselves into a state where the cursor block is flashing even when they don't have focus. I *think* this tends to happen after a suspend/resume cycle, but am not sure about that. Will investigate a bit more and update this issue if I get solid reproduction steps. These blinkenlights are annoying!

i've notice that it happens when you hover the mouse in that terminal with no focus, this is more like a vte issue though, so i'm reassigning it for now. thanks.

This was caused by https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=677329, which is fixed in Xenial (Gtk+ 3.18.9).
