Bug Description

As of in gutsy (7.10) compiz is standard and people will use, like me, the desktop as transparent terminal as explained in http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=3254093.

It works very pleasant to have my terminal in the 'background'. But I miss a shadow under my font so I can read all text in my terminal without hurting my eyes.
From 2005 there is a patch available on the libvte so can someone please apply this? It will be a major improvement in (read/use)ability.
