Here is no vsound for Hardy. This is a very useful Tool for many useres.

I fear that your request will not possible since vsound is a dead project (the last release was made in 2004)...
vsound was in Gusty but was superseded since hardy (see https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vsound).

Thanks. Yes, this is no longer maintained upstream, and was also removed from Debian at the request of their QA team (debian bug #460649 because of this, and also because it still depended on debmake (which has also been deprecated and is no longer in Debian or Ubuntu).

Someone would need to take care of upstream maintenance of this for it to be considered a candidate for packaging again.
