SSL certificate for vsftpd is missing

Hi,
if you enable SSL in vsftpd in ubuntu server 10.04, the service won't start - probably because /etc/ssl/private/vsftpd.pem, whish is stated in the configuration file, is missing.

The vsftpd package doesnt ship a snakeoil certificate by default. You'll have to create your own.

I failed to mention that the certificate was shipped (or it used something preinstalled) with some previous version I was using.

I'm looking through old bugs in vsftpd. I don't see instructions on how to reproduce this bug. Please could you confirm if this bug still affects the latest Ubuntu release, and if so, post steps on how to reproduce it? Once done, please change the bug status back to New. Thanks!

Hi. I'm still using Ubuntu Server version 10.04.
