vnc4server fails to launch window manager (kde/kwin)

window manager: kde (kubuntu-desktop)

When running:
   vnc4server :2

The user gets a gray X-windows server with no window manager running.

A look in the vnc log file captured by vnc4server for the client yields this:

What am I suppose to do to fix this?

Eventually I would like it to run on boot and provide a kdm login screen. But can
you help me fix this basic problem to start?
