Bug Description
Binary package hint: vmware-player
I installed vmware-player on Feisty and I got an error ( which I unfortunately forgot to save ) I then tried to remove vmware-player at which point I got this output from apt:
Removing vmware-player ...

dpkg: error while cleaning up:

Now, when I try to use apt for anything, even "installing" an application I already have the newest version of I get an error ( and waste > a minute and have to press y <return> a few times just to get it ) which is very irritating:
$ sudo apt-get install bb
